Meadowcreek Opens with Wins

Meadowcreek won both divisions of its season-opening tri-meet with South Gwinnett and Central Gwinnett over the weekend.

The Mustangs had 234 girls points to 137 for South and 68 for Central. They edged South 186-184 in boys while Central was third in that division with 78.

Meadowcreek got first-place finishes from Irina Jacimovic (200 free, 3:21.05 and 100 breast, 1:44.29), Edgardo Padilla (200 IM, 2:46.89), Kristy Duong (200 IM, 3:02.56 and 100 fly, 1:19.65), Josmar Morales (50 free, 26.91 and 100 free, 1:00.78), Lizeth Ordonez (50 free, 31.63), Karmina Gutlay (100 free, 1:10.92), Oscar Ordonez (500 free, 6:14.33), Joel Ordonez (100 back, 1:07.38) and Allison Hernandez (100 back, 1:24.14).

South’s event winners were Alex Gabriel (200 free, 2:42.83), D.J. Robinson (100 fly, 1:11.45), Aliyah Berry (500 free, 7:54.74) and Gerald Coleman (100 breast, 1:22.83).
